2011 - Year of Acceptance
The author of My Princess Boy, Cheryl Kilodavis, has declared that 2011 should be a year of acceptance. I applaud her efforts to promote tolerance and acceptance and join her in this pledge. People fear what they don't know so we continue to remind everyone that we must begin with children and explore differences with them. I will continue to post literature that is dedicated to this purpose and My Princess Boy is one of them. Thanks go out to Ms. Kilodavis for her courage.

This program is a truly unique experience for school age children and either sections or the whole program should be mandatory for all schools.
ReplyDeleteI have personally witnessed the huge amount of time and careful development that has been put into this program as well as some of the students reactions and I am very impressed with the gentleness and grace with which some very difficult topics are introduced to youngsters.
Congratulations, Laraine. Your commitment really shows and I know that this program will continue to be successful. I believe this will make a big differende.
